Yvonne G. (Greene) Chandler

Yvonne G. Chandler, 89, of Stoughton, died peacefully at home on September 1, 2016. She was born and raised in Boston, graduated from Memorial High School, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration & Economics. She lived in Weymouth for many years, and later became a member of the First Congregational Church of Stoughton. Yvonne retired as an Economist for the Department of Labor, and in her free time she enjoyed dancing, volunteering, and traveling.

Yvonne was the loving mother of Bruce A. Chandler, Sharon C. Johnson and her husband Larry Johnson, the late Drew C. Chandler, and his surviving wife Adrianne Chandler, daughter Jill P. Chandler, and daughter of the heart Deborah U. Dickerson. Yvonne was the sister of the late: Myrtle Grant, Genevieve McClane, Ruth Graham, Edna Narbonne, Dolores Moody, and Jacqueline Jackson. She is survived by eight grandchildren, many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of devoted relatives.

Funeral services will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton, MA on Friday, September 9, 2016 at 11AM. Visiting Hours prior to the service from 10-11 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Yvonne's memory may be made to: Dana Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.
