Winifred I. (Meserve) Dzus

Winifred I. (Meserve) Dzus, 90, died at Southeast Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Easton on Friday, December 21. She was the wife of the late John Dzus. Daughter of the late Orville W. and Ada (Easter) Meserve, she was born in Arlington and raised in Stoughton. She graduated from Stoughton High School, Class of 1940 and Fisher Junior College. Mrs. Dzus was a resident of Easton since 2007 after living in Brockton for over 40 years. She was a secretary in Boston before she was married and then was a homemaker. She was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed the outdoors.

Mrs. Dzus was the beloved mother of Kenneth J. Dzus of Wareham and Paul M. Dzus and his wife Alice of Bridgewater. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Paul K. Dzus, Andrea L. Lynch and Eva X. Dzus, as well as her great-grandson, John W. Lynch. She was the sister of the late Edward Meserve.

At Mrs. Dzus' request, there was an anatomical donation to Harvard Medical School. A Memorial Service for Winifred will be held at a later date.
