William H. Osborne, 68, died unexpectedly Tuesday, July 4, 2017. He was the beloved husband of 38 years of Sheila (Aines) Osborne. Born in Quincy, he was raised and educated in Quincy and was a graduate of Quincy High School. He was also a graduate of Northeastern University. Mr. Osborne was a resident of Stoughton since 1989. He was a longtime employee of Polaroid in Norwood and several of their other area locations, and retired in 2008. He was an avid Boston sports fan and was a former Stoughton Little League coach and youth hockey coach to both of his sons. He was a member of the Quincy High School Baseball Hall of Fame. Bill loved to be outdoors, going to the beach and working and relaxing in his yard. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and his grandson, Will.
In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by his two sons; Mark H. J. Osborne of FL and Gregory A. Osborne and his wife Jennifer of Salem. He was the brother of Frances Jancaterino and her husband, Charles, of Randolph. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and his grandson, William G. Osborne.
Funeral Prayers will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday, July 10 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday from 2-5 PM.
