William F. Meadows

William F. Meadows, 51, a longtime resident of Canton, died unexpectedly at home on Thursday, February 16. He was the son of William S. and Geraldine I. (Hampe) Meadows of Stoughton. Born in Boston, he was raised in Stoughton and graduated from Stoughton High School, Class of 1978. He also attended Massasoit Community College. Mr. Meadows was the owner of Blue Hill Environmental for 15 years. In his free time, he enjoyed watching Star Trek and traveling.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Meadows is survived by his brothers, Daniel E. Meadows and his wife Marcia of Providence, RI and Douglas P. Meadows and his wife Kathryn of Brockton. He was the uncle of Sara & Daniel Meadows and Mike Riley. He was predeceased by his companion, Sarah Jackson. He is also survived by his friends, Gary Demers, David Wilson and John Hughes.

Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday at 7 PM. Visiting Hours prior from 5-7 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in William's memory may be sent to Old Colony Hospice, 1 Credit Union Way, Randolph, MA 02368.
