William E. Kezer, "Bill", 56, died unexpectedly Sunday, December 1, 2013, while vacationing in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. He was the husband of 34 years of Nancy E. (Carlson) Kezer. Born in Boston, he was raised and educated in Stoughton and was a graduate of Stoughton High School. He also was a graduate of Tabor Academy and Framingham State College. He was a resident of Mansfield for many years before moving to Easton several years ago. Mr. Kezer worked for the United States Postal Inspection Service for 22 years, retiring as the Deputy Chief Postal Inspector at age 50. He was an avid golfer and a sports fan and with his son, Shaun, a longtime season ticket holder of the New England Patriots.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Jennifer M. Kezer of Easton and his son Shaun C. Kezer of Norton. He was the brother of Joann Lynch of Attleboro and Gerald F. Kezer of NH. He is also survived by his sister in law, Jill Russell and her husband Paul of Stoughton as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Tuesday, December 10 at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist Church, Canton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Monday from 3-7 PM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.
