William P. Hill

William P. Hill, 57, died Monday, December 26, 2022, at the Beth Israel Medical Center in Boston, after a period of declining health. Born in Brockton, son of Maryann (Diaz) Hill of Mansfield and the late Robert W. Hill, he was raised and educated in Stoughton and attended Stoughton Schools.  Bill was a resident of Whitman for many years, previously living in Mansfield and was previously a longtime resident of Stoughton. He worked for the Courier Company and Alpine Press in Stoughton for over 37 years in the Shipping and Receiving Department and also worked with his father and his business, Hill Fence Company, for many years. He retired several years ago. Bill was an avid sports fan and was a fan of the Boston Sports teams who also enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia. He will be remembered for his big heart and his kind ways with both friends and strangers.
