William Fedorowich, also known as William Fedora, 92, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly at the Good Samaritan Medical Center on Saturday, December 19, 2015. He was the husband of the late Ruth E. (Rossier) Fedorowich. Son of the late John and Helen Fedorowich, he was born in Boston, raised in Stoughton and graduated from Stoughton High School, Class of 1941. William retired in 2004 as the Fire Chief at Fore River Shipyard and General Dynamics in Quincy, where he worked for 67 years. He enjoyed farming, gardening, hunting and fishing.
Mr. Fedorowich is survived by his children, William J. Fedorowich of Stoughton, Richard W. Fedorowich and his wife Paulette of Stoughton and Jean E. Davidson of Lutz, FL, as well as his grandchildren, Richard W. Fedorowich, Jr. and his wife Caroline and David Fedorowich and his wife Michele and his great-grandchildren, Jack, Emily and Spencer Fedorowich and Zoe.
He was the brother of Marie Kahler of Somerset and the late Peter Fedorowich. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, December 23 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours prior from 10-11 AM. Interment will take place at Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
