William F. Marsh

William F. Marsh, Jr., age 78, passed away on October 23, 2023 at the Ellis Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Norwood. He was the loving husband to Irene C. (O’Hare) Marsh for over 20 years. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late Rita G. (Cass) and William F. Marsh, Sr. He was raised and educated in Dedham, and was a graduate of Dedham High School. In his younger years, he went on to serve in the Army as a military policeman, and was proud to serve his country. He worked as a General Contractor at K&K Acoustical Ceilings out of Tewksbury for over 30 years, servicing many different places and working on commercial and industrial buildings throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire. He enjoyed spending summers in Cape Cod with his family and going to the beach. He belonged to various social clubs such as, the Randolph Elks, Sons of Italy of Rockland, and the American Legion. In his spare time, Bill was a longtime DJ, known as “Mr. Jukebox,” and loved all genres of music. He was a very social person with a boasting and humorous personality, and an incredibly loving heart. Above all, he cared for his family dearly and will be greatly missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by his children Jacquelyn T. Marsh of Halifax, and Brittany L. Marsh and her wife Demi of Chelmsford. He is also survived by his siblings, Susan Salvi and her late husband Walter of Natick, Jan Morin and her husband Jerry of Pembroke, Mary Constantino, and her husband Joseph of Cumberland, and was predeceased by his brothers David and Richard Marsh. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, and loved his four legged companions, Dusty and Bruno.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park Street (Rt. 27) Stoughton, on Friday, October 27 from 4-7 PM, followed by Funeral Prayers at 7 PM. A burial will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne on Thursday, November 2 at 10:15 AM.
