William L. Catania

William L. Catania, Jr., 39, died unexpectedly at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Saturday, February 22. He was the husband of the late Jodi A. (Meadows) Catania and the son of Carol A. (McAuley) Catania of Quincy, formerly of Stoughton, and the late William L. Catania. Born in Boston, he was raised and educated in Stoughton and was a graduate of Xaverian Brothers High School in Westwood in 1992. Mr. Catania also attended Wentworth Institute of Technology. A longtime resident of Stoughton, Mr. Catania worked in construction for many years. Known for his outgoing personality, he was a fan of the Patriots and Bruins who was known for helping friends.

Mr. Catania was the father of Nicole M. Catania of Brockton and the brother of Kristin M. Catania of HI. He was the stepfather of Logan J. Hurley and Mia E. Hurley both of Easton. He is survived by the mother of his daughter, Amy Randall of Brockton, his in-laws, the Meadows Family of Stoughton and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rte 27) Stoughton, on Friday, February 28 at 12 Noon. Visiting Hours will be held prior to the prayers from 10 AM to 12 Noon. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton. Donations in his memory may be made to the Nicole M.
