Wayne J. Medeiros

Wayne J. Medeiros, 57, died unexpectedly at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Tuesday, December 28, 2010, after being stricken ill at his home. He was the beloved husband of Cheryl A. (Hinchliffe) Medeiros. Born in Fall River, he was raised and educated in Westport. He was a resident of Easton for over 20 years. He worked as an Engineer for Motorola in Marlborough for over 10 years. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time on his boat, the Cheryl Ann, and fishing.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his stepson, Brandon Mayer of Easton and his granddaughter Peyton Mayer. He was the brother of Richard Medeiros of CT and Linda Medeiros of Fall River.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Monday, January 3, at 8:45 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, 330 Pratt St. (Rte 106) Mansfield at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday January 2, from 2-5 PM. Burial will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery, Mansfield.
