Warren G. Maloney

Warren G. Maloney, 72, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died at the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton on Friday, July 2 after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Mary G. (Corbett) Maloney. Born in Braintree, he was a graduate of Archbishop Williams High School in Braintree. He was a resident of Stoughton for 45 years. Mr. Maloney was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army, serving from 1956-1959. He was a manager at AT&T in Boston for 25 years before retiring in 1987. Mr. Maloney was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 200 in Stoughton. He was both a coach and a member of the Board of Directors for Stoughton Little League for many years. An avid Notre Dame and Boston sports fan, he enjoyed working in his yard and spending time with his grandchildren and his dogs.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Maloney is survived by his sons, Jackie Maloney and his wife Sheila of DE, J.P. Maloney and his partner Vanessa of Brockton, Billy Maloney and his wife Lisa of Bridgewater and Ryan Maloney of Stoughton, as well as his grandchildren, Brian, Amanda, Marlowe, Jaeka, Sarah and Jake. He was the brother of Kevin Maloney of Braintree and Elizabeth Sullivan of Hanover. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Wednesday, July 7 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 4-8 PM. Burial will be private. Donations in Warren's name may be made to New England Sinai Hospital, 150 York St., Stoughton, MA 02072.
