Warren A. Lawson, 81, a longtime resident of Sharon, died at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington on Sunday, February 22, 2015. Son of the late George and Ella Lawson, he was born in Boston, raised in East Boston and graduated from East Boston High School. He was a resident of Sharon for the past 47 years. Warren was an Airman 1st Class in the U.S. Air Force and a Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was the owner of Mr. Snack, Inc. in Waltham and in the food service industry for over 35 years. Mr. Lawson had a deep devotion to the care of his autistic son, Scott and was a longtime member of the Board of Directors of the New England Center for Children. An avid Red Sox and Patriots fan, he also enjoyed working in his yard.
Mr. Lawson is survived by his children, Cherryl L. Lawson Pressley and her husband W. Scot Pressley of Scottsdale, AZ, Lori G. Block and her husband Steven of Stoughton and Scott W. Lawson of Framingham, as well as his grandchildren, Casey R. Pressley, Daniel P. Block and Brittany R. Block. He was the brother of the late George, Ralph, Howard and Robert Lawson, Alice Condon and Ethel O'Connell and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held from Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, February 26 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday from 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Rock Ridge Cemetery, Sharon. In lieu of flowers, donations in Warren's memory may be made to the New England Center for Children, 33 Turnpike Rd., Southborough, MA 01772.
