Warner L. "Bucky" Bucklin died at home in Stoughton on Thursday, March 22 after a period of failing health. He was the husband of Beverly A. (Burke) Bucklin. Born in Melrose, Mr. Bucklin grew up in Malden and was educated in Malden and Lynn Schools and graduated from Alabama College. He was a resident of Stoughton for many years. Mr. Bucklin was an U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a teacher at Stoughton High School for over 30 years before retiring in 1996. An avid sports fan, he coached several sports at Stoughton High School, in particular basketball.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Bucklin is survived by his children, Bruce and his wife Janet of TX, Barry and his wife Cindy of OH, Lisa and her husband Brian Gary of AL, Kendra of Jamaica Plain and James "JJ" of Stoughton. He is also survived by his sister, Nancy of ME, his brother, Peter of GA and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, William B. Bucklin.

Funeral Service will be held from the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 906 N. Main St., Brockton on Monday, March 26 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Sunday from 2-5 PM. Burial will be private. Donations in Bucky's name may be made to the Dana Farber Jimmy Fund, 1 Harvard St., Brookline, MA 02146-9795.
