Walter J. Wenskevich

Walter J. Wenskevich, 80, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Thursday, July 30. He was the husband of the late Josephine M. (Griffin) Wenskevich. Born in Stoughton, he was a graduate of Stoughton High School. Mr. Wenskevich was a Corporal in the U.S. Army and a Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was an inspector at Northrop Corporation in Norwood for 40 years before retiring 14 years ago. He was a member of the VFW Post 1645 in Stoughton. In his free time he enjoyed gardening, fishing and trips to Maine.

Mr. Wenskevich is survived by his children, Walter J. Wenskevich, Jr. of Lakeville, Paul M. Wenskevich and his wife Sandra of Middleboro, Mark F. Wenskevich of Stoughton and Patty Wenskevich of Foxboro, as well as his grandchildren, Emily, Nicole, Jennifer and Derek. He was the brother of Frances Bougis of S. Boston.
Graveside Service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Washington St. (Rt. 138), Stoughton on Monday, August 3 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Sunday 2-5 PM.
