Walter H. Goodwin

Walter H. Goodwin, 58, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 15 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton from injuries suffered in a car accident. A lifelong resident of Stoughton, he was a graduate of Stoughton High School. Mr. Goodwin was a self-employed roofing and siding contractor for most of his life before retiring recently. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was a loving person who took in strangers and was a friend to all. He was also an avid pool player.

Mr. Goodwin is survived by his children, Renee Corkum of CA, Wendy Dabreu of New Bedford, Michael Dabreu of TX and Cade Goodwin of Attleboro and his sisters, Evelyn Ginsburg of Brockton and Joan Young of TX. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.

Memorial Service will be held from the First United Methodist Church, 109 Pleasant St., Stoughton on Monday, March 20 at 7 PM. Visiting Hours omitted. Interment will be private.
