Vivian M. Deutsch

Vivian M. (Richards) Deutsch, 81, of Buzzards Bay, passed away on Saturday, July 12 2014. She was the wife of the late Russell A. Deutsch. Born and raised in Boston, she was a resident of Stoughton for 40 years before residing in Buzzards Bay for over 10 years. Vivian loved gardening, fishing and spending time with her family. Vivian's greatest pleasure in life was feeding family and friends with her delicious Italian cooking. Her mantra was "mangia, mangia." No one ever left her home without a hug, a full belly, and food for the road.
She is survived by her children, Russell A. Deutsch, Jr. and his wife Melanie of Brockton, Debra L. Copeland and her companion Scott Lyons of Middleboro, Wendy J. Yates and her husband William of Loveland, CO, Paula M. Mallard and her husband William of Sagamore Beach, and daughter in-law Lisa DeAngelis of Middleboro. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sons Ricky and Joey Deutsch. She was also predeceased by her daughter-in-law Paula J. (Sorgman) Deutsch, and her siblings Jean Heffner, Lillian Richards, and Joseph Richards.
Funeral Service will be held from Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, July 17 at 1:00 PM. Visiting Hours prior from 11:00 AM ? 1:00 PM. Interment will be private at South Easton Cemetery.
