Virginia A. (Cromie) Roach Warsher

Virginia A. (Cromie) Roach Warsher, 96, died Friday, December 9, 2016 at the West Acres Nursing Home in Brockton after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Walter H. Roach and the late Adolph Warsher. Born and raised in Brookline, she was a graduate of Brookline Schools. She was a longtime resident of Dedham and had been living in Stoughton for the past 5 years. Mrs. Warsher worked in the Dedham Schools as a Cafeteria Worker for several years, retiring many years ago. Along with her husband, Walter Roach, she owned Charles River Laundry in Dedham for many years. She also volunteered in the Dedham Schools reading to children. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. An animal lover, in her free time, she enjoyed reading, knitting and watching television.

Virginia was the mother of Jeffrey A. Roach and his wife Kristine of Ware and the late Donna Cummings and her husband Albert Cummings of Turner Falls. She was the longtime friend of Ann and Larry Ledin of Stoughton. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral will be held in the Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., (Rte. 27) Stoughton on Monday at 10:30 AM. Visiting hours prior to the Mass will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton from 9-10 AM. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations in her memory may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation, P.O. Box 5014, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5014.
