Virginia R. Liss

Virginia R. (Hill) Liss, a resident of Middleboro, died at Morton Hospital in Taunton on Saturday, October 5 after a brief illness. She was the wife of Robert J. Liss. Born in Brockton, she was raised in Stoughton and Brockton. She lived in Middleboro for 13 years after living in Randolph for 16 years. Mrs. Liss was a homemaker. She was very fond of animals, especially cats and was an avid Red Sox fan. She enjoyed her quarterly trips to Foxwoods with her husband and spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Liss is survived by her children, Justin R. Liss of Middleboro and Janelle A. Liss of Abington, as well as her grandchildren, Kaleb and Kaylin. She was the sister of Kenneth Hill and his wife June of Bridgewater, John Hill and his wife Dixie of Hanson, Richard Hill of Quincy and the late Robert Hill, Debra Meireles and Diane Fleenor. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Wednesday, October 9 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday from 5-8 PM. Interment will be private.
