Vida M. Eaton

Vida M. (Gibbs) Eaton, 85, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died at Copley at Stoughton on Sunday, October 10. She was the wife of the late Frederick N. Eaton. Born in Reading, she was educated in New Hampshire schools. Mrs. Eaton was a homemaker. She was a resident of Stoughton for 49 years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, sports, especially hockey and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Eaton is survived by her son, Gerald Eaton and his wife Mary Jane of Stoughton. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Chris Eaton of CT and Dan Eaton of Stoughton and her 4 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her four sisters and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Friday, October 15 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday 5-8 PM. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.
