Victor Dino, 76, retired owner of Dino Buick in Stoughton, died Saturday, March 10, 2012, in Stoughton after a period of failing health. He was the husband of the late Patricia Lee (Audette) Dino. Born and raised in Central Falls, RI, he was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Lincoln, RI. He resided in Stoughton for the past 47 years. As a young man he worked in his family owned gas station and service center in Central Falls and it was there that he began his passion for automobiles. Together with his brothers, in 1953 he started Dino Buick in Stoughton where he worked until his retirement in 1998. Mr. Dino was a member of the Buick Club of America. He was a former member of the Democratic Town Committee and the Finance Committee, both in Stoughton. In his free time, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and shooting at the Stoughton Fish and Game Club.
Mr. Dino is survived by his two sons, Victor H. Dino and his wife Janet of Succasunna, NJ and Jason P. Dino of Stoughton. He was the beloved Babi of Jacob and Brian Dino. He was the brother of Mary Lenzini of RI and the late Martha Nuri, Eva Belgard, William Dino and David Dino. He was the beloved Babi of Jacob and Brian Dino. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Monday, March 19 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday from 3-6 PM. Interment will take place at Woodlawn North Purchase Cemetery, Attleboro.
