Trudy A. (Wade) Marshall

Trudy A. (Wade) Marshall, 90, died Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at the West Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Brockton, after a period of failing health. Born and raised in Stoughton, she was a graduate of Stoughton Schools, Class of 1943. She was a longtime resident of Stoughton and Easton. Mrs. Marshall worked in the office at Southeastern Regional Technical High School in Easton for many years, retiring several years ago. She also worked as the Social Director at Pilgrim Pines Conference Center in Swanzey, NH for several summers. Previously, she worked as an Executive Secretary at Grossman's and at Cabot, Cabot & Forbes in Boston. She was a lover of music and her lifetime avocation was ballroom dancing. In her free time, she enjoyed dancing and playing the organ.

Mrs. Marshall was the mother of John W. "Jack" Marshall, Jr. and Bryan W. "Ted" Marshall both of Norton, Dee Marshall Hayes and Steven C. Marshall both of Easton. She was the sister of Charles F. Wade of Stoughton and the late Priscilla Dimond and William Wade. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held in the Evergreen Cemetery, 1100 Washington St. (Rte. 138), Stoughton on Friday, July 1 at 10AM. Visiting Hours Omitted. Donations in Trudy's memory may be made to the First Congregational Church, 76 Pierce St., Stoughton, 02072.
