Toni M. Carrara

Toni M. (Swanson) Carrara, 56, died Saturday, March 11 at the Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis after a brief illness. She was the Longtime Companion of Thomas Hampton of Sandwich. Born in Brockton, she was a longtime resident of Brockton and a graduate of Brockton Schools. Mrs. Carrara was a resident of Sandwich for the past 5 years, previously living in Easton. She was a housekeeper at the Daniel Webster Inn in Sandwich for 10 years. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, drawing, boating and the ocean. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and her dogs Filo and Pinfo.

She is survived by her daughter Jaime M. Carrara of E. Sandwich. She was the daughter of David Swanson and Lorraine (Labate) Swanson of Mashpee. She also leaves her brother David Swanson of Brockton.

Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday Night, March 16 at 8 PM. Visiting Hours prior to service from 5-8 PM. Donations in Toni's name may be made to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, 01701. Burial will be private.
