Timothy C. Purdy

Timothy C. Purdy, 36, died April 26, 2016, after suffering from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in Stoughton, he was a longtime resident of Stoughton and a graduate of Stoughton High School, class of 1998 and was a member of the basketball team. He moved to Taunton about one year ago. Known to many as "Uncle Timmy", he worked at Totman Brothers and 138 Equipment in Stoughton as a Heavy Equipment Operator for over 10 years. In his free time he enjoyed watching NASCAR, fishing, tattoos, spending time at Totman's Pond and spending time with friends and family.

He was the father of Jocelyn R. Purdy of Stoughton and the son of Alan R. Purdy of Stoughton and the late Karen L. (Pedersen) Purdy. Mr. Purdy was the brother of Heath R. Purdy and his wife Lori of Dedham and Rachel B. Purdy of Stoughton. He was the uncle of Kylie Lurane Gomes, Colin James Purdy, Cailyn Rose Purdy and the late Brendan Michael Murphy.

Funeral Reflections will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday, May 2, at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday from 2-6 PM. Donations in Tim's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1324 Belmont St., Suite 204-101, Brockton, MA 02301.
