Thomas A. Santos, 71, died unexpectedly at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Thursday, November 27. He was the husband of Judith A. (Moran) Santos. Born in New Bedford, he was raised and educated in Stoughton. Mr. Santos was an U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a resident of Brockton for the past 25 years. He was a licensed carpenter for many years until his recent retirement. He was a member of the Elks in Randolph and AMVETS in Stoughton. In his free time he enjoyed fishing and cooking.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Santos is survived by his children, Renee M. Dreist and her husband Patrik of Brockton, Yvonne M. DeFazio and her husband Kenneth and Pamela A. Goodman and her husband Ronald all of Mansfield. He was the brother of Sarah Santos of New Bedford, Felix Santos of Texas, Genevieve Gray of Alaska and the late Pearl DeNault, Aida Wood and Carlos Santos. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Brief Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday, December 1 at 7:30 PM. Visiting Hours prior from 5-7:30 PM. Cremation will take place following the services. In lieu of flowers, donations in Thomas' name may be made to Tufts Medical Ctr., Cardiac Arrhythmia Ctr., Dr. Mark S.
