Thomas Stephen Reeder, Sr., 63, of Hanahan, SC, formerly Merrimack, NH, died Wednesday, September 24 after a short illness. He was the husband of Ginny (Dellelo) Reeder. Born, raised and educated in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Randolph Parker Reeder and the late Isabel Poison (Cairns) Reeder. Mr. Reeder was a Veteran of the US Army and served during the Vietnam War. He retired as a Quality Assurance Specialist with the Department of Defense, DCMA, in 2010, after 37 years of service. Mr. Reeder was a member of the American Legion Post 22 in Baltimore, MD. Thomas was a die-hard New England Patriots fan and self proclaimed "foodie" who loved gardening, cooking, dining out and riding his bicycle in downtown Charleston, SC.

In addition to his wife, Ginny, he is survived by his children, Stephen Thomas Reeder of SC, Thomas Stephen Reeder, Jr. of CA and Anthony Randolph Reeder and his wife Pam of PA and Vickey Reeder of TX. He was the grandfather of Angelina Reeder; the brother of Randolph Reeder of NH and is also survived by two sisters and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday, October 25 at 11 AM. Visiting hours prior to the prayers from 10-11 AM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind, 371 East Jericho Tpke., Smithtown, NY 11787-2976 or at www.guidedog.org.
