Thomas J. Mone, III, 53, a resident of Quincy, died at Radius Specialty Hospital in Roxbury on Monday, March 21. Son of Thomas J. Mone, Jr. of Newton and the late Eileen (Mahoney) Mone McDonald, he was born in Boston and raised in Stoughton. He was a resident of Quincy for over 10 years. He was a graduate of Stoughton High School, attended SMU in Dartmouth and graduated from Quincy Junior College and UMass-Boston. Mr. Mone was disabled. He enjoyed collecting stamps and coins.
In addition to his father, Mr. Mone is survived by his siblings, Daniel P. Mone of Stoughton, Jeanne M. Naphen of N. Easton, Ronald J. Mone of S. Easton and Dennis S. Mone of Marshfield. He was the uncle of Renee and Robert Naphen.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Saturday, March 26 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Friday from 5-8 PM. Burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
