Thomas K. Hunt

Thomas K. Hunt, 77, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died Sunday, November 17, 2024, at the VA Hospice in Brockton after a period of declining health. Born in Boston to the late Thomas J. Hunt and Mary Alice (McGuire) Hunt, he was a resident of Stoughton since the family moved to the town in 1954. Mr. Hunt was a Veteran of the US Air Force, having served as a Sergeant and Flight Engineer. After his time in the Air Force, he had a successful career in sales and went on to manage the American Legion in Stoughton where he held a longtime membership. 

 Thomas is predeceased by his life partner Mary J. Emma. He is survived by his granddaughter Jill Sweetman of Richmond, RI and several brothers and sisters, as well as many nieces and nephews. Mr. Hunt will be missed by many, as he played an active role within his community. 

 A graveside service will be held Evergreen Cemetery, 1100 Washington St. (Rt. 138), Stoughton, MA on Friday, November 22 at 11:30 AM. Friends and relatives are invited to attend.
