Thomas G. Healey

Thomas G. Healey, 74, a longtime resident of Sharon, died on January 12, 2012 after a period of failing health. He was the Beloved Husband of Maureen A. (McNulty) Loring-Healey of Sharon and the late Alice (Kinlin) Healey. Born in Jamaica Plain, he was raised and educated in Jamaica Plain and a graduate of Boston Schools. He also was a graduate of Dean College. Mr. Healey was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He worked in the Accounting Department for the United States Post Office for many years, retiring several years ago. The "King of Bargains," in his free time he enjoyed building doll houses for his grandkids, gardening, traveling to Foxwoods and spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children; Thomas G. Healey, Jr. and his wife Laurie of Franklin, Barbara A. Healey and her husband Robert Puglisi of NY and Kathleen M. Jones and her husband Christopher of Mansfield. He was the Step Father of Lisa M. Lohr and her husband Ralph of CA, Linda M. Loring of Norton and Laura M. Rawson of Brockton. He was the brother of Susan Mills of Easton, Richard Healey of FL and the late Edward Healey, Robert Healey, Alice Pike, Ann Melcher and Janet Martin. He was the Caring Papa of 10 grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Monday, January 16 at 8:45 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Sharon at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday from 2-5 PM. Interment will take place at Rock Ridge Cemetery, Sharon.
