Theresa M. Joseph

Theresa M. (Anderson) Joseph, 83, died Monday, August 24, 2015, at the Ellis Nursing Home in Norwood after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Charles B. Joseph. Born in Roxbury, she was raised and educated in Dorchester and Roxbury and was a graduate of Cardinal Cushing High School in Boston. She was a longtime resident of Stoughton. Mrs. Joseph was a homemaker who also worked at the Goddard Hospital in Stoughton for several years. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Company Theater in Norwell. In her free time, she enjoyed baking, playing the piano and singing. She also enjoyed helping friends and family in need and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Joseph is survived by her children, Charles B. Joseph, Jr. and his wife Deborah of CT, Michael V. Joseph and his partner John King of Weymouth, John P. "Jack" Joseph and his wife Deborah of TN, Ellen C. Coneys and her husband Thomas of NY, Nancy M. Bertone and her husband Peter of Plainville and Elizabeth "Betsy" LeBlanc of North Attleboro. She was the sister of Leo Anderson of MO and was predeceased by 6 brothers and sisters. She is survived by 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held from Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday, August 26, from 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at VA National Cemetery, Bourne.
