Theodore T. "Ted" Sprissler, 67, a longtime resident of Brockton, died peacefully at Braemoor Health Center in Brockton on Monday, June 26, 2017. Son of the late Theodore Sprissler, Jr. and Helen (Murphy) Sprissler, he was born in Boston and raised in Dorchester. He was a graduate of South Boston High School, Class of 1968 and attended Fisher Junior College. He was a resident of Brockton since 1972. Ted was a bus monitor for Kiessling Transit in Norfolk for 21 years before retiring in 2016. An avid Boston sports fan, he enjoyed fishing, bowling, building models and American and World History. He was active in Stoughton Youth Baseball for many years.
Ted was the brother of Helen Sprissler, Joseph Sprissler and Barbara Sprissler all of Brockton, Michael Sprissler of Oregon, Christine Nordstrom of Bridgewater and the late Robert Sprissler. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Prayers will be offered from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, July 6 at 7 PM. Visiting Hours prior from 4-7 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ted's memory may be made to the National World War II Museum, 945 Magazine St., New Orleans, LA 70130.
