Thelma (Perry) Zaiser, 92, died November 1, 2013, at the Epoch Senior Health Care Center in Norton after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late William J. Zaiser. Born in Everett, she was raised and educated in Stoughton and was a graduate of Stoughton Schools and Maltby's Secretarial School. She resided in Norton for the past year after living in Carver for 30 years. Mrs. Zaiser was a Bank Teller at Norfolk County Trust in Stoughton for several years before becoming a dedicated homemaker and mother. A longtime member of the First Parish Universalist Church in Stoughton, she was a member of their 20-40 Club and was especially active at their church fairs. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and loved visits from her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter Linda Winship and her husband Warren and her son Dana Zaiser and his wife Kathleen all of Norton. She was the grandmother of Karin Carlino and her husband Michael and Jennifer Gomes and her husband Antonio. She was the great grandmother of Amanda Carlino, Lauren Carlino and Mason Gomes. She was predeceased by her brothers Everett Perry, Woodrow Perry and sister Verlie Perry.
Private family services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Stoughton. Donations in Thelma's name may be made to the First Parish Universalist Church, PO Box 284, Stoughton, MA 02072. Arrangements by Farley Funeral Home, Stoughton.
