Thalia E. Felton

Thalia E. Felton, 97, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died at the Guardian Center in Brockton on Sunday, January 31. Daughter of the late Melver C. and Ruth E. (Herbert) Felton, she was born and educated in New Bedford. She was a resident of Stoughton since 1971. Miss Felton was an office worker for the Division of Employment Security in Boston for 25 years before retiring in 1975. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, John J. Smith Chapter #3 in Dorchester and the Council on Aging in Stoughton. In her free time she enjoyed knitting, reading, sewing, planting and gardening.
Miss Felton is survived by her brother, Robert R. Felton of FL. She was the aunt of Loretta R. Williams of Stoughton and great-aunt of Joseph B. Williams of Stoughton. She was preceded in death by several brothers and 1 sister.
