Susan A. (Kosinski) Tobin, 63, died Thursday, December 24, 2015 at the Plymouth Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Plymouth after a long and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was the wife of the late John R. Tobin III. Born in Boston, to the late Walter and Elizabeth (Zarkowsky) Kosinski, she was raised and educated in Stoughton and was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1970. Mrs. Tobin was a resident of Carver for over 40 years. She was a dedicated homemaker and mother who opened her home to friends and family whenever needed. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Atlantic City, Las Vegas and Foxwoods. In her free time, she enjoyed playing bingo and shopping.
She is survived by her two sons, John C. Tobin of Plymouth and Keith R. Tobin and his wife Caitlyn of Carver. She was the grandmother of Keith R. Tobin, Jr. and Nathan J. Tobin. She was the sister of Chester Kosinski and his wife Marlene of RI and the late Arlene Kosinski, Walter Kosinski, Nancy Kosinski, Robert Kosinski, Edward Kosinski and John Kosinski. Susan was the daughter in law of John & Anna Tobin of Stoughton and the sister in law of Thomas Tobin of Norwood, Barbara Fobert of Carver, Michael Tobin of Brockton and Kenneth Tobin of TX. Susan was blessed to have her loving caregivers, Barbara and Tracy Fobert. She is also survived by Kathy Alger of NH and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, December 30 at 11:30 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday from 5-8 PM. Burial will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton. Donations in Susan's memory may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 101A First Ave., Waltham, MA 02451.
