Susan L. (Dimond) Sprissler

Susan L. (Dimond) Sprissler, 67, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at Brockton Hospital on Saturday, April 15, 2017. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Sprissler. Daughter of Frederick A. Dimond, Jr. of Stoughton and the late Priscilla L. (Wade) Dimond, she was born in Brockton. Susan was a graduate of Stoughton High School. She was a switchboard operator at Goddard Hospital in Stoughton for 20 years before retiring in 2001. Susan was a Past President of American Legion Post 89 Auxiliary and a Past Director of the Norfolk County American Legion Auxiliary.

In addition to her father, Susan is survived by her sons, Robert A. Sprissler and his wife Kimberly and Kevin M. Sprissler all of Stoughton and Steven P. Sprissler and his wife Jennifer of Centerville. She was the sister of Alan R. Dimond of Alabama. She is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, April 21 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday from 4-7 PM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton. Donations in Susan's memory may be made to Joslin Diabetes Center, Development Office, 1 Joslin Place, Boston, MA 02215.
