Susan J. Gaffney

Susan J. Gaffney, 49, died Saturday, January 24, 2015, after a long period of failing health. Born in Boston, she was raised and educated in Stoughton and was a graduate of Stoughton Schools. Ms. Gaffney also was a graduate of the Goddard Hospital Radiology Courses. She was a longtime resident of Stoughton. She worked as an X-Ray Technician for the Goddard Hospital in Stoughton for several years. Recently, she worked as a receptionist at Parshley Real Estate in Stoughton. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, crocheting and spending time with family and friends.

Ms. Gaffney was the daughter of Jeanne M. (Hemphill) Parenteau of Stoughton and her husband the late Walter Parenteau and the late Francis Gaffney. She was the mother of Daniel Gaffney Osgood and the sister of John F. "Jack" Gaffney of RI, Jill M. Forman of FL, Patricia L. DeCosta of NH, Christine Murphy Campilio of Mansfield, Michael E. Gaffney of CO, Robert G. Gaffney of Easton and Joseph F. Gaffney of Stoughton. She was the stepsister of Walter Parenteau, Jr, Nicole Parenteau and Joseph Parenteau. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
