Susan E. Bishop, 67, a resident of Easton, died at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Monday, March 27, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Mary E. (Peterson) Bishop. Born in Boston, she was raised in South Boston and graduated from St. Augustine School in South Boston and Massasoit Community College. Susan was a resident of Easton for the past 2 years after living in Randolph for over 30 years. She worked in the Accounting Operations Department at New England Telephone for 27 years before retiring in 1996. She was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed playing golf.

Susan was the niece of the late Leo Peterson. She is survived by her best friend, Joanne C. Harrington of Sharon and her childhood friend, Carol Estrella. She is also survived by several godchildren.

Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday, April 1 at 10 AM. Visitation prior from 9:30-10 AM. Interment will take place at Gardens of Gethsemane, W. Roxbury. In lieu of flowers, donations in Susan's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
