Susan J. Ardizzoni

Dr. Susan J. Ardizzoni, 61, died peacefully in Venice, FL on Monday, August 17, 2015 after a long illness. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Jerome C. and Dorothy P. (Chetwind) Ardizzoni. She was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1972. She earned her Bachelor's Degree from UMass-Amherst, Master's Degree from Assumption College in Worcester and her Doctorate Degree from Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology in West Roxbury. Susan had a private psychology practice in both Shrewsbury and Boston. She was a resident of Venice for the past 5 years after living many years in Boston. She was very active in church affairs and the choir at both St. Mark Episcopal Church in Venice, FL and St. Paul Episcopal Church in Brookline.

Susan is survived by her sister, Sandra L. Fumarola and her husband Stephen of Bridgewater, as well as her nephews, John Foley and his wife Amy of Easton and Matthew Foley of Boston. She is also survived by an uncle, many cousins and dear friends.

Memorial Mass will be held at St. Paul Episcopal Church, 15 St. Paul St., Brookline on Wednesday, August 26 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations in Susan's memory may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 29 Crafts St., Suite 450, Newton, MA 02458.
