Sumner B. "Sonny" Indeck

Sumner B. “Sonny” Indeck, age 85 passed away peacefully on May 5, 2024, at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Israel Indeck and Eva (Baer) Indeck. He was raised and educated in Chelsea and was a longtime resident of Stoughton. He was self-employed for many years, and loved riding his motorcycle, going to the beach, and going out to eat.

Sonny is survived by his children Michelle Indeck, Steven Indeck and his wife Risa and Marla Soreff and her husband Adam. He is also survived by his grandchildren Debrah and her husband Dan, Matthew, Alex and his wife Alex, Cameron, Jacob and Asher, and his great-grandchildren Nora, Maya, and Cooper. He also leaves behind his sister Geraldine Heitin of Florida.

A Funeral Service will be held at Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park Street (Rt. 27), Stoughton on Wednesday, May 8^th at 4 PM. Shiva will be held on Wednesday May 8th at 7PM at Canton Village, 1A Will Drive, Canton, MA 02021. Donations in Sonny’s memory may be made to Ahavath Torah Congregation, Rabbis Discretionary Fund, 1179 Central Street, Stoughton, MA 02072.
