Stephen D. Sullivan, 72, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at Vibra Hospital of Southeastern Massachusetts in New Bedford on Monday, October 30, 2017. He was the loving husband of Donna (Brien) Sullivan for 51 years. Son of the late Arthur J. and Marie C. (Bacon) Sullivan, he was born in Brockton. Stephen was a graduate of Cardinal Spellman High School, Class of 1963 and served in the U.S. Army Reserves before graduating from Stonehill College, Class of 1970. He resided in Stoughton for the past 23 years. Stephen was the Director of Materials Management for Plymouth Rubber in Canton, where he worked for 40 years before retiring 8 years ago. He enjoyed bargain hunting and cooking but his greatest joy was spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, Stephen is survived by his children, Thomas A. Sullivan and his wife Violet of Dunedin, FL, Steffani S. Kuplast and her husband Paul of Mansfield and William S. Sullivan and his wife Emilie of Sturbridge, as well as his grandchildren, Saradonna Kuplast, Charlotte Sullivan, Finnian Sullivan, Maxwell Sullivan, Quinlan Sullivan and Jack Sullivan. He was the brother of Arthur F. Sullivan of Stoughton and the late Jean M. Adams. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, November 7 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Monday from 4-7 PM. Interment will be private. Donations in Stephen's memory may be made to Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton, MA 02072.
