Stephen Francis Shea

Stephen Francis Shea, age 35, passed away unexpectedly after a long battle with addiction on April 19. 2025. Born in Stoughton, he was the son of Deborah Barrett and her husband Joseph, and Kelly Shea and his wife Marcia. He was a graduate of Southeastern Regional High School and was employed locally in Stoughton at various jobs in the area. He was also an avid Boston Sports fan and enjoyed watching the Patriots, Red Sox, and Bruins.

In addition to his parents and step-parents, he is survived by his former spouse and friend Michelle (Berger) Reale, his siblings Daniel Shea and his fiancé Sophia Anastos of Stoughton, Timothy Shea of Stoughton, David Shea and his wife Erica of Easton, Dylan Shea of Stoughton, Victoria Shea of Stoughton, and his stepsiblings Christopher Wigfall and Jennifer Wigfall of Stoughton. He is also survived by his grandparents Mary and Frank Shea of Marlboro, and Richard Bender of Stoughton. He was the uncle to Myles Shea, Caleb Shea, and Ryder Shea, is survived by his great-uncle to Alan Bender of Wellesley, and leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park Street (Rt. 27), Stoughton, on Monday April 28th from 4-7 PM with Funeral Prayers at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Stoughton Food Pantry at 2 Park Avenue, Stoughton or at Father Bill’s and Mainspring at https://helpfbms.org/donate/ or 430 Belmont Street, Brockton, MA 02301. Interment will be held privately.
