Stephanie (Martinec) Kohler

Stephanie (Martinec) Kohler, 97, died Wednesday, September 4, 2019, at the Arbors at Stoughton Assisted Living Home. She was the wife of the late Eugene A. Kohler. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was raised and educated in Brooklyn and Queens, NY and was a graduate of New York City Schools. She was a resident of Mineola, NY for over 50 years before moving to Stoughton in 2015 to be closer to family. She worked as a bookkeeper for AT&T in New York City and on Long Island for many years, before retiring several years ago. In her free time, she enjoyed crossword puzzles and gardening.

Mrs. Kohler was the mother of the late Mary Kohler and the sister of the late John Martinec and Mae Oliver. She is survived by her nephew William Oliver and his wife Cheryl of Stoughton. She was the great aunt of Nicholas and Alexander Oliver.

Private family services were held in the Long Island National Cemetery in New York.
