Stephan F. Taylor, 58, died Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at his home. He was the Beloved Son of Josephine (Amtmann) Taylor of Stoughton and the late Walter M. Taylor. Born in Boston, he was raised in Stoughton and attended Stoughton Schools. He was a longtime resident of Stoughton. Stephan worked at BAARC and at the Shoe City Redemption Center in Brockton for over 30 years. He was a member of the Stoughton Association of Exceptional Citizens (SAEC) and was a longtime competitor in the Special Olympics. In his free time, he enjoyed bowling and watching the Red Sox and Bruins and traveling with his family.
In addition to his mother, Stephan is survived by his sister Juliana J. Keleher and her husband Thomas of Canton and his brother William M. Taylor and his wife Pauline Belleville-Taylor of Taunton. He was the brother of the late Walter M. Taylor, Jr. He is also survived by 4 nieces and nephews and 9 great nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday from 5-8 PM.
