Stanley J. Kurtyka, 79, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at the Brockton Hospital in Brockton. Born and raised in Stoughton, he attended Stoughton Schools. He worked as a Truck Driver for several trucking companies, including Dade Trucking in Florida for many years, retiring several years ago. In his free time, he enjoyed reading, especially Louis Lamour Novels.
Mr. Kurtyka was the father of Annmarie Graham and Nanette L. Smith, both of NC and the late Janice E. Schwingle. He was the brother of Allen E. Kurtyka of PA, John E. Kurtyka of NV and Mary Louise Kurtyka of Stoughton and the late William Kurtyka. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
