Shirley A. (Verheyen) Remick

Shirley A. (Verheyen) Remick, 82, died Monday, November 18, 2019, at the CareOne at Randolph Nursing Home in Randolph, after a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Frank B. Remick. Born in Boston, she was raised and educated in Hyde Park and was a graduate of Hyde Park High School. Mrs. Remick was a longtime resident of Stoughton. She worked as a Computer Manager for Thayer Pharmacy in Stoughton, and later for the Pet Supply Depot in Westwood, for many years, retiring several years ago. She was a devoted mother and grandmother whose life revolved around her family and her grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoyed swimming at the YMCA in Easton, reading and watching television.

Mrs. Remick was the mother to William Remick and his wife Jodi of Mansfield, Paul of Stoughton, Christopher of NH and SallyAnn Kessler and her husband Walter of Canton. She was the loving grandmother of Adam, Daniel and Andrew Remick, Casey Chaisson, Matthew, Kathleen, Christine and Kurt Remick, Karl Comeau and Tyler Remick, Lauren Kessler and the late Katrina Kessler. She was the sister of Sylvia Harnan of Duxbury and the late Charles Verheyen, Theresa Kirksey and Dorothy Denny. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and 3 great grandchildren.
