Sheryl Ann (Gray) Richard, 59, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 1, 2019, surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late Margaret (Toner) Gray and Richard W. Gray. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Timothy H. Richard. Born in Boston, Sheryl was raised in Dorchester and educated in Boston Schools. A resident of Taunton since 2009, she previously lived in Stoughton for many years. She worked at Wholesale Tool in Stoughton for over 15 years; She then worked at Rexa, Inc, in West Bridgewater for several years, before retiring due to her declining health. Sheryl enjoyed listening to the "lost 45's", watching every Court show ever made, keeping up with neighborhood happenings, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. A devoted mother and grandmother, she was a kind, caring woman who spread her love beyond just her children, to help other youngsters when they needed it.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children; Sheryl A. Richard and her longtime partner Bob DuPont of Stoughton, Jennifer M. Lawson and her husband Keith of Randolph, Daniel M. Richard and Jefferey H. Richard, both of Taunton, and Paula L. Buono and her husband Jonathan of Abington, as well as her 13 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of Lynne Gray of Taunton, Diane Keeley of Weymouth and the late Richard W. Gray of Brockton.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt 27), Stoughton on Friday, February 8th, from 4‐7 PM. Funeral Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sheryl's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1324 Belmont St. Brockton, MA 02301
