Shawn T. Gilmore

Shawn T. Gilmore, 42, a resident of Taunton, died unexpectedly at the Brockton Hospital on Monday, August 10, 2015. He was the husband of Sara M. (Nickerson) Gilmore. Son of Gary E. Gilmore of Florida, he was born in Boston and raised in Randolph. He resided in Taunton since 2001. Shawn worked maintenance at Shaw's Supermarkets for 28 years, mainly in Stoughton and Fall River.
In addition to his wife and father, Shawn is survived by his children, Gianna J. Gilmore and Nicholas C. Gilmore both of Taunton. He was the brother of Richard Gilmore of Florida and Robert Gilmore of Plymouth. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held from Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, August 13 at 7 PM. Visiting Hours prior from 5-7 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Shawn's memory may be made to the Shawn Gilmore Scholarship Fund, c/o West Congregational Church, 415 Winthrop St., Taunton, MA 02780.
