Scott J. Kilroe, 40, died unexpectedly on Saturday, April 13 in Mattapoisett. Son of James V. Kilroe of Wareham and the late Patricia M. (Henry) Kilroe, he was born in Boston and raised in Stoughton. He was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1991 and attended Massasoit Community College. He was a resident of Wareham for the past 2 years. Scott was an Elevator Constructor with the Local 4 IUEC for 15 years. He also was a self-employed mason. In his free time he enjoyed his stone work.
In addition to his father, Scott is survived by his daughter, Taylor G. Kilroe of Weymouth, as well as his siblings, James F. Kilroe and his wife Cindy of Wareham, Thomas M. Kilroe of NY and Diane M. Kilroe of Easton. He is also survived by his former wife, Christina M. (Agostino) Kilroe of Weymouth, a nephew, several nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Friday, April 19 at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church, Stoughton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday from 4-8 PM. Interment will take place at Forest Hills Cemetery, Boston. Donations in Scott's memory may be sent to the Taylor Kilroe Scholarship Fund, details to be announced.
