Scott A. Gibbons

Scott A. Gibbons, 37, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 29, 2014. He was the husband of Jessica L. (Geaney) Gibbons. Born in Boston, he was raised in Stoughton and graduated from Stoughton High School, Class of 1995 and Boston University, Class of 1999. He resided in Westwood for the past 5 years. Scott was a records consultant in the Boston area for the past 14 years. He was an active youth sports coach in Westwood.
In addition to his wife, Scott is survived by his children, Nora K., Luke J. and Jack A. Gibbons all of Westwood. He was the son of James E. and Maureen T. (Heffernan) Gibbons of Stoughton. He was the twin brother of Mark E. Gibbons and his wife Sarah of Milton and brother of Emily A. Brems and her husband Terry of Milton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton on Monday, August 4 at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours omitted. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Scott's memory may be made to the Gibbons Children Higher Education Fund, see link on left.
