Scott W. "Doggie" Duclos, 48, died unexpectedly on Monday, July 16, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Mary Ann (VanHorn) Duclos. Born in Medford, he was raised and educated in Stoughton. He worked for Testa Construction and the Laborer's Union Local 1421 in Boston for many years. Prior to working for Testa, he worked for Napoli Wrecking. Known for his distinctive voice, he is remembered for his loving and giving personality and as an all-around wonderful person. He was a Jack-of-All-Trades, and enjoyed helping his friends and neighbors. Above all, he was a devoted and loving father.
He is survived by his beloved daughter Bailey Lynn Duclos of Stoughton. He was the brother of Daniel Duclos of Stoughton, Susan Nathan of Randolph, Paul Duclos of Lynn, Gail Cromwell of Brockton and Mark Duclos of AK and the late Donna Papadimitrios. He was predeceased by his parents, Louis and Patricia (Lowd) Duclos. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his dog Teddy.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Monday, July 23, at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Service at the Trinity Episcopal Church, 414 Sumner St., Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday, July 22 from 2-6 PM.
