Sandra Mary (Niemi) Morris, age 82, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at home on Monday, May 27, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of John J. Morris, the love of her life for over 65 years. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Ralph O. and Mary (DeSalvatore) Niemi.
Sandra worked as a bookkeeper for most of her life and retired after over 20 years working at Makeover Salon & Spa in Easton where they lovingly referred to her as “Bookie”. She was a fantastic cook, loved to entertain, and take trips to the casinos. She would lighten up a room and then always depart with an “I love you more”. She also loved her annual trips to Aruba where she met many lifelong friends as well as her trips to Truro with her family where she referred to it as her happy place. Her favorite thing to do was to sit on the porch with a glass of wine, listening to her music.
In addition to her husband John, she is survived by her daughters, Debra A. Morris of Avon and Laurie J. (Morris) and her husband Ernest “Chip” Weineck of Raynham. She was the beloved sister of Ralph A. Niemi of Franklin. Sandra is also survived by her grandchildren, Matthew, Kurt and Olivia Weineck, as well as several nieces and nephews.
